Meet Phil Koffler, MSPT, MTC, VMc, TDNc
Care begins with a closer look.
Owner, Physical Therapist, and Certified Manual Therapist · 26 years of clinical experience

Phil founded LoDo Physical Therapy to provide a different kind of physical therapy experience—one built around time with an experienced clinician, thoughtful assessment, and a clear understanding of what is driving each patient’s symptoms.
With 26 years of clinical experience, Phil brings a broad perspective to complex musculoskeletal problems. His approach integrates orthopaedics, biomechanics, hands-on manual therapy, functional dry needling, Visceral Manipulation, individualized exercise, movement assessment, and principles of functional medicine. Rather than focusing only on where it hurts, he works to identify the mechanical, functional, and broader factors that may be contributing to a patient’s symptoms.
Phil earned his Master’s degree from Regis University and completed advanced certification in Manual Physical Therapy through the University of St. Augustine. Over more than two decades of practice, he has continued to expand his training in areas including Visceral Manipulation and functional medicine. This experience allows him to draw from multiple approaches while tailoring care to the individual rather than applying the same treatment model to every patient.
Having also taught at the doctoral level, Phil places a strong emphasis on helping patients understand their condition, their options, and the reasoning behind their treatment plan. Every patient presents a different puzzle. The goal is not simply to reduce symptoms, but to develop a practical path from recovery to the activities, function, and performance that matter most to you.
